Applying for admission to dental school (typically after four years of college) requires meeting specific established criteria. One of these is obtaining satisfactory scores (scores at or above the national average) on the Dental Admission Test (DAT).
To help you prepare for the DAT, the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Dentistry offers a four Saturday Online LIVE DAT Preparatory Course. The course is designed to sharpen your test-taking skills and your knowledge in the subject areas tested on the DAT (biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry, perceptual ability, math and reading comprehension).
The material covered during each session will be presented in a review format with an emphasis on fundamental principles to assist you in determining what areas within each subject that you need to further explore on your own. Having already completed two semesters of biology, general chemistry, and organic chemistry will make the sessions more meaningful.
This unique live online DAT Preparatory Course will allow you to attend each Saturday course on your computer from anywhere in the world. All handouts will be in digital format and can be downloaded to your computer. There will be four sections for each course. You may review any section after it is completed for a period of one month.
The registration fee to participate in the course is $395.00 which includes not only the course but also the CD-ROM "Top Score Pro for the Dental Admission Test" produced by ScholarWare.
Sign up now for the session of your choice! Space is limited for each course, so be sure you get a seat in the session that works best for you.
