NBDE Part II Review Course

The UMKC School of Dentistry has opened its National Board Dental Examination (NBDE) Part II Review Course to all dental students preparing for the NBDE Part II exam. This unique course allows students to study on their time with a series of on-Demand lectures and content.
The bulk of the content is covered in the on-demand mini-lectures. These mini-lectures cover all ten topics of the NBDE Part II including: Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, Endodontics, Periodontics, Patient Management, Operative Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery & Pain Control, Oral Diagnosis, Pharmacology, and Prosthodontics. An outline of the content covered is listed below.
A series of webinar sessions with our professors to go over board exam-style questions is recorded for students to review at their convenience. In these sessions, students work with our professors to review board exam questions for each subject and topic. Professors explain the concept associated with each question and help students to work through the rationale required to successfully answer each question.
These sessions provide students with valuable insights into the mind of the test writers and are also a great opportunity for students to get more detail or clarification on any of the topics within any of the mini-lectures they have reviewed.
This course also includes a series of Self-Assessment Exams (SAEs). These self-assessment exams allow students to see how well they know the materials to identify strengths and weaknesses in the content specified by the ADA for the NBDE Part II Exam.
